Keep a roof over Mythili's head in Ludhiana
After a long illness, Mythili is 3 months behind on rent and has a court summons for non-payment from the landlord.

When the call centre closed in February, I fell 3 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a court summons for non-payment was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $300.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by May, we must leave.
I have three school-aged children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $300 goes:
• Rent arrears (3 months): $260
• Late fees and court costs: $25
• Utilities in arrears: $15
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.

looking forward to the next update. Love from Porto Alegre.
Stay strong. I hope your landlord gives you a bit more time while this comes together. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Blessings!
Hope things get better soon. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Put this on a community board in Berlin this morning
