Keep a roof over Melanie's head in Regensburg
A 10-day notice to quit arrived last week. Melanie needs $2,750 to clear the arrears and stay housed in Regensburg.

After a sudden layoff at the warehouse, I fell 2 months behind on rent. Last Monday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $2,750.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by May, we must leave.
I have a teenager still in school at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working night deliveries, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
The money will be paid directly to the landlord and I'll upload the receipt once it's done.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• First month of rent as a buffer: $760
• Rent arrears (2 months): $1,900
• Utilities in arrears: $90
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

So sorry you're going through this, Melanie. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better
Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. Love from Bergamo
Wishing you the best, Melanie. It takes guts to ask. Well done. God bless.
