Keep a roof over Matthew's head in San Diego
After a divorce, Matthew is 4 months behind on rent and has a 10-day notice to quit from the landlord.

After a sudden layoff at the construction firm, I fell 4 months behind on rent. Last Wednesday a 10-day notice to quit was taped to my door, and the amount I owe is $4,050.
My landlord has been understanding for a while, but he has now been clear: if the arrears aren't cleared by July, we must leave.
I have two young children at home. Moving isn't just an expense - it would mean new schools, a new commute and no deposit to put down anywhere else.
I have started working weekend shifts, and I'm applying for help from local services, but nothing will arrive in time without the rest of the gap covered here.
Funds go to the landlord and nowhere else. Any amount left over after the arrears are cleared will go toward next month's rent.
Where the $4,050 goes:
• Rent arrears (4 months): $2,800
• Late fees and court costs: $370
• Utilities in arrears: $115
• First month of rent as a buffer: $765

Wishing you the best, Matthew. Looking forward to the next update
Keep going, Matthew. Hope this works out for you. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. God bless.
Hang in there, Matthew. I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. Read this on the bus and kept thinking about it all day
thinking of you and your family. Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in Mwanza but we're thinking of you. Thinking of San Diego.
Gave what I could, wish it was more. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Greetings from Butwal.
