Justice shouldn't depend on a bank balance: Naveen's asylum application
Help Naveen cover the fees of an asylum application so He can stay with his family.

I'm facing an asylum application. My hearing is scheduled for December, and the filing fees and the lawyer's retainer come to $350. I have been told by three legal-aid offices that their waiting list is longer than my deadline.
I have all of my paperwork ready, and my caseworker at Mumbai Welcome Centre has confirmed that my case is valid.
If I miss the deadline I could lose my right to stay with my family and my job. My children were born here and this is the only home they know.
I'll share any non-sensitive updates as the case moves along.
Funds cover only the filing fees, translations and attorney retainer.
Where the $350 goes:
• Attorney retainer: $210
• Filing and biometrics fees: $80
• Certified translations and document copies: $25
• Court-appointed interpreter and travel: $35
Thanks for reading all this.

Rooting for you, Naveen. Gave what I could, wish it was more. We're a small family in Mwanza but we're thinking of you.
Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Rochester donated after I showed her your page!
Hope it all works out, Naveen. Looking forward to the next update. All the best.
Take care, Naveen. This could happen to any of us. Blessings.
