Justice shouldn't depend on a bank balance: Mia's residency renewal
Help Mia cover the fees of a residency renewal so She can stay with her family.

I'm facing a residency renewal. My hearing is scheduled for October, and the filing fees and the lawyer's retainer come to $2,750. I have been told by three legal-aid offices that their waiting list is longer than my deadline.
I have all of my paperwork ready, and my caseworker at the Orlando Community Legal Centre has confirmed that my case is valid.
If I miss the deadline I could lose my right to stay with my family and my job. My children were born here and this is the only home they know.
I'll share any non-sensitive updates as the case moves along.
Funds cover only the filing fees, translations and attorney retainer.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Attorney retainer: $1,550
• Filing and biometrics fees: $780
• Certified translations and document copies: $175
• Court-appointed interpreter and travel: $245
Glad we found this place.

Gave what I could, wish it was more. Love from Mérida
thinking of you and your family. I hope things turn around soon. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Greetings from Mumbai.
sending strength, Mia. Looking forward to the next update. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Thinking of Orlando
