Jaxon's colon cancer treatment fund
Jaxon is facing colon cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Jaxon was diagnosed with colon cancer in June. The oncology team at Salem Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Jaxon is 50, worked as a bakery worker until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Salem Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $13,450 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $9,750
• Transport to Salem Cancer Centre: $760
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,200
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $740
