James needs clippers, chairs and mirrors to reopen a barbershop
James has run a barbershop for fifteen years; the demolition of the market destroyed the equipment, and $3,350 will put it back on its feet.

For fifteen years I have run a barbershop in San Jose. In November, the demolition of the market took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Thursday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 4 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,350 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $1,600
• Initial stock: supplies: $780
• Shop repairs and licensing: $350
• Working capital for the first month: $620
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Sending strength. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
