Itzel is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying an agriculture degree at Guadalajara University, and is two terms away from graduating. She has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $900. The registrar has said Itzel can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Itzel has a first-class average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Itzel would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Itzel isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Guadalajara University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
