Ian's stomach cancer treatment fund
Ian is facing stomach cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Ian was diagnosed with stomach cancer in July. The oncology team at Kansas City Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Ian is 35, worked as a primary school teacher until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Kansas City Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,550
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $370
