Hubballi landslide relief - the Riverside neighborhood
After the landslide, families in the Riverside neighborhood need clean water, roofing materials and bedding.

The landslide hit the Riverside neighborhood on 13 August. My home was one of 70 damaged, and 12 families are still in temporary shelter at the community hall.
The first few days we shared what little we had. Now the cleanup has started, but we've no money for materials and winter or the rainy season is coming.
Schools in the area have been closed, and the clinic lost its cold storage for vaccines. We're a small community of working families who have never asked for help before.
We have formed a volunteer committee, and I'm the treasurer, so I'll post receipts for everything we buy.
We buy supplies locally and in bulk, so the money goes further. Receipts and photos will be posted in updates.
Where the $500 goes:
• Tools and labor for repairs: $100
• Clean water and purification supplies: $120
• Roofing sheets and timber: $280
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Rooting for you, Sangeetha. More neighborhoods should do this. Thinking of Hubballi
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Sangeetha.
Wishing you peace. More neighborhoods should do this. I told my book club about it and three of them are giving too. Thinking of Hubballi.
Best of luck, Sangeetha. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Blessings
Hope it all works out. More neighborhoods should do this. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Take care
You're not alone. It takes guts to ask. Well done. My mother had a similar thing happen so this one hit home. Love from Bang Khen.
