Hoàng's final semester of a diploma in hospitality management in Cần Thơ

Hoàng is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Cần Thơ University, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700. The registrar has said Hoàng can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Hoàng has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Hoàng would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Hoàng isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. Everything raised goes to the university's accounts office toward the outstanding balance and the final term's fees. Where the $700 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $270 • Final term tuition: $380 • Exam and lab fees: $25 • Textbooks and materials: $25 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
