Hideo is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a teaching qualification at Kawasaki Polytechnic, and is one term away from graduating. He has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,450. The registrar has said Hideo can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Hideo has a distinction average, and a faculty supervisor has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Hideo would lose his place and scholarship eligibility. Hideo isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Kawasaki Polytechnic bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
