Yaowalak was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in April. The oncology team at the Bang Khen Oncology Institute has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Yaowalak is 25, worked as a hairdresser until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Bang Khen Oncology Institute 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
