Vladimir is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a degree in civil engineering at Zaporizhzhia Community College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $850.
The registrar has said Vladimir can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Vladimir has a 3.9 average, and a professor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Vladimir would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Vladimir isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Zaporizhzhia Community College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $850 goes:
• Exam and lab fees: $60
• Outstanding tuition balance: $500
• Final term tuition: $290
