Help Vipul get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
Vipul served eight years in the air force; $600 would cover a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment.
🇮🇳 Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India1,275 views
I served eight years in the air force and was discharged in 2023 with hearing damage and PTSD. I have been waiting nine months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a deposit on a one-bedroom apartment. The quote I have comes to $600.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $600 goes:
• Training provider fees: $260
• Housing deposit and first month: $220
• Transport to appointments: $70
• Essential household items: $50
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

sending love, Vipul. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Dar es Salaam so I could bring a meal. All the best.
Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Vipul!
It's all in the list in the story. training provider fees is the big one at $260, I'll post a receipt when it's paid. Appreciate you taking the time.
Wishing you peace, Vipul. I hope things turn around soon. Take care.
Hope it all works out. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Thinking of Agra.
