Help Vera restart a roadside café in Saint Petersburg after floodwater
A roadside café in Saint Petersburg needs help replacing an espresso machine and grinder after floodwater.

For four years I have run a roadside café in Saint Petersburg. In August, floodwater took an espresso machine and grinder. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 2 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 5 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $950 goes:
• Initial stock: coffee and pastries: $240
• Shop repairs and licensing: $160
• Replacing an espresso machine and grinder: $550
Whatever you can give, even just sharing this page, means a lot.

Hope the shop reopens soon. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected!
Thanks for sharing this, Vera. Hope this works out for you. All the best!
A colleague of mine might know someone for this in Saint Petersburg. I'll ask around and let you know!
