Vadym is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying an agriculture degree at the Saint Petersburg Institute of Technology, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $1,750.
The registrar has said Vadym can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Vadym has a 3.6 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Vadym would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Vadym isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the Saint Petersburg Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $590
• Final term tuition: $1,050
• Exam and lab fees: $110
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.

You're not alone, Daria. As a teacher I love seeing someone work this hard to learn. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. All the best.
thanks for sharing this. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Please keep us posted. God bless
Wishing you the best, Daria. This could happen to any of us. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
