Help Themba lay Bongani to rest with dignity in East London
Themba lost his brother suddenly and the family cannot cover funeral and burial costs of $1,100.

Bongani, my brother, passed away on 6 May after a sudden heart attack. He was 49 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,100 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 24 May.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Bongani to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $1,100 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $660
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $290
• Transport of the deceased: $100
• Memorial gathering for the family: $50
Thank you for reading my story.

you're not alone. It takes guts to ask. Well done. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Greetings from Mangaluru.

Good luck, Themba. Looking forward to the next update
Hope things get better soon, Themba. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it.
Stay strong, Themba. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Sent it to 9 people at work
