Terry was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in June. The oncology team at San Antonio Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Terry is 25, worked as a farmer until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Antonio Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $1,450
• Transport to San Antonio Regional Medical Center: $800
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $450
