Terry was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in May. The oncology team at Aberdeen Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in August. He will be away from work for about 5 weeks. Terry is 58, worked as a tailor until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Aberdeen Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $7,750 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,900 • Scans and lab work: $1,350 • Transport to Aberdeen Regional Medical Center: $780 • Household costs while unable to work: $1,720 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
