Tejas was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in April. The oncology team at Chennai Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks. Tejas is 41, worked as a bakery worker until April, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Chennai Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment. Where the $1,200 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $640 • Scans and lab work: $120 • Transport to Chennai Regional Medical Center: $110 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $105 • Household costs while unable to work: $225 Every share and every dollar helps.
