Help Suresh restart a bicycle repair shop in Los Angeles after a storm that collapsed the roof
A bicycle repair shop in Los Angeles needs help replacing a full set of tools after a storm that collapsed the roof.
🇺🇸 California, United States3,805 views
For nine years I have run a bicycle repair shop in Los Angeles. In February, a storm that collapsed the roof took a full set of tools. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Sunday, and I employed 1 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 6 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,400 goes:
• Replacing a full set of tools: $1,750
• Initial stock: spare parts: $900
• Shop repairs and licensing: $210
• Working capital for the first month: $540
Every share and every dollar helps.

hope it all works out. It takes guts to ask. Well done. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust.
take care, Suresh. Hope you get there. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. God bless.
Shared this with my family. Wish I lived closer to São Paulo so I could bring a meal.
