Help Solène restart a barbershop in Marseille after a fire in the building
Solène lost clippers, chairs and mirrors to a fire in the building and needs $3,250 to reopen a barbershop and support the family.

For six years I have run a barbershop in Marseille. In December, a fire in the building took clippers, chairs and mirrors. I have no insurance, and the bank won't lend to me.
Before that, my customers came every Wednesday, and I employed 3 people from the neighborhood. I have been out of business for 7 weeks.
This business pays my children's school fees and rent. I have already started working from home in small ways, but I can't meet orders without proper equipment.
Every contribution brings me closer to reopening, and I promise to post photos as I buy each item.
I'll buy equipment from local suppliers and post photos and receipts as I go.
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Replacing clippers, chairs and mirrors: $2,000
• Initial stock: supplies: $430
• Shop repairs and licensing: $350
• Working capital for the first month: $470
Thank you so much.

stay strong. Shared this with my family. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. Greetings from Mumbai
you're not alone, Solène. Gave what I could, wish it was more. I'll check back for the next update. Take care

Hope you make a strong comeback. Love from Tarkwa.
Hang in there. Hope this works out for you. Put this on a community board in Munich this morning. Thinking of Marseille.
