Rubén was diagnosed with cervical cancer in September. The oncology team at Medellín University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in October. He will be away from work for about 7 weeks. Rubén is 30, worked as a taxi driver until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Medellín University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
