Rohit is facing early-stage lung cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Rohit was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in August. The oncology team at Coimbatore Regional Medical Center has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks. Rohit is 32, worked as a shop owner until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Coimbatore Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $1,650 goes: • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,000 • Scans and lab work: $180 • Transport to Coimbatore Regional Medical Center: $105 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $55 • Household costs while unable to work: $310 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
