Rajesh is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a pharmacy diploma at Mumbai State College, and is two terms away from graduating. He has worked as a delivery rider to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $600.
The registrar has said Rajesh can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Rajesh has a first-class average, and an academic advisor has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Rajesh would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Rajesh isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Mumbai State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
