Help Prakash get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
After four years of service, Prakash is raising funds for a vocational welding course and tools.

I served four years in the engineering corps and was discharged in 2023 with post-traumatic stress. I have been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile I'm sleeping at my brother's place.
I have a plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote I have comes to $550.
I'm receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and am committed to my recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'd be grateful for any help and will share updates on how I'm doing.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $550 goes:
• Training provider fees: $240
• Housing deposit and first month: $165
• Transport to appointments: $75
• Essential household items: $70
Thanks for being kind about this.
