Pierre is facing stage 3 ovarian cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Pierre was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer in August. The oncology team at Boulogne-Billancourt Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Pierre is 41, worked as a farmer until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Boulogne-Billancourt Regional Medical Center 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $10,800 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $7,250
• Scans and lab work: $890
• Transport to Boulogne-Billancourt Regional Medical Center: $810
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $570
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,280
