Help Paweł get back to civilian life: housing deposit and training
An engineering corps veteran in Liverpool needs help with a vocational welding course and tools after leaving service with a traumatic brain injury.
🇬🇧 United Kingdom1,962 views
Zofia served twelve years in the engineering corps and was discharged in 2023 with a traumatic brain injury. She has been waiting eleven months for support, and meanwhile is sleeping at a brother's place.
The plan: a vocational welding course and tools. The quote comes to $3,700.
Zofia is receiving counseling through the veterans' clinic and is committed to recovery. Structure and a stable place to live are the missing pieces.
I'll post invoices, with personal details hidden.
Where the $3,700 goes:
• Training provider fees: $2,300
• Housing deposit and first month: $820
• Transport to appointments: $210
• Essential household items: $370
If you're reading this, thank you.
