A first-generation student, Okta needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a diploma in hospitality management.

Okta is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a diploma in hospitality management at Bekasi University, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $700.
The registrar has said Okta can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Okta has a distinction average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Okta would lose her place and scholarship eligibility.
Okta isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Bekasi University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $700 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $340
• Final term tuition: $280
• Exam and lab fees: $25
• Textbooks and materials: $55
I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Okta
Sure. The biggest one is outstanding tuition balance, $340. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Ask me anything else.
