Nolan was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in March. The oncology team at the Anaheim Oncology Institute has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in July. He will be away from work for about 4 weeks.
Nolan is 37, worked as a bus conductor until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Anaheim Oncology Institute 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $4,800
• Scans and lab work: $670
• Transport to the Anaheim Oncology Institute: $500
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $640
• Household costs while unable to work: $2,290

What's already covered and what's the $8,900 for?
Chemotherapy and medication not covered is $4,800 of it. Everything else is listed in the story and nothing outside that list comes out of this page. Fair thing to want to know.
