Miguel was diagnosed with stomach cancer in July. The oncology team at Caloocan Regional Medical Center has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 12 weeks. Miguel is 27, worked as a bus conductor until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Caloocan Regional Medical Center 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly. We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders. I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes. Where the $850 goes: • Scans and lab work: $120 • Transport to Caloocan Regional Medical Center: $85 • Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $540 • Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $105 I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support. - Jun
