The water account is 4 months behind. I received a disconnection notice that says service will be cut off on October unless I pay $200. I have never been late before my partner leaving the household. I called the provider and asked about a payment plan, but they need a down payment of $40 first, which I don't have. I live with a parent on oxygen therapy, and going through the rainy season without water isn't safe. Without it we can't refrigerate insulin and food, or keep the house at a safe temperature. I'm working on getting back on my feet, and will pay forward whatever help I can once I'm steady. Every dollar goes to the account in Sombat's name; a copy of the paid bill will be shared in the updates. Where the $200 goes: • Utility arrears: $110 • Reconnection and late fees: $45 • Down payment on a payment plan: $45 Even a small gift gets used right away and I'll thank you myself.

Is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Sombat

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. utility arrears comes first ($110) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Happy to explain more.

  • I was in a similar spot a few years ago and it did get better. This is the second need I've supported on here and the first that made me cry. Blessings.
