Help me pay for emergency hernia repair at Saint Luke Hospital
After a thyroid nodule that needs removal, Satria was cleared for emergency hernia repair, but the bill is more than we can manage.

In August I was diagnosed with a thyroid nodule that needs removal. My surgeon at Saint Luke Hospital recommended emergency hernia repair, and I have been placed on the schedule for November. The hospital's financial office gave me a written estimate of $1,050, and after what the public health scheme will pay, I'm still $800 short.
Doctors at Saint Luke Hospital told me a thyroid nodule that needs removal will get worse without emergency hernia repair. I work as a security guard, and I have saved what I can, but the estimate of $1,050 is far beyond what I've.
Until the surgery I can't work full days, and my hours as a security guard have already been cut. Every week of waiting means more pain and a bigger risk.
Recovery is expected to take about 3 weeks. I'll not be able to stand for more than ten minutes during that time, so this has become a financial emergency as well as a medical one.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $800 goes:
• Post-operative medication: $35
• Hospital stay (3 nights): $190
• Pre-operative tests and imaging: $50
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $440
• Physiotherapy sessions: $85
Thanks for reading all this.

hope it all works out. Hope the doctors have good news. My father had a similar thing happen so this one hit home.
how is Satria doing now?
Thinking of you and your family. Shared it with a few friends. Blessings
Keep going. It takes guts to ask. Well done. Don't be hard on yourself for asking.
Sending love. Get well soon. Greetings from St. Petersburg
