Help me finish a nursing degree at San Diego University - $6,200 to go
Hazel has worked and saved for three years to study a nursing degree; a $6,200 gap now stands between her and graduation.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a nursing degree at San Diego University, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a shop assistant to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $6,200.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a distinction average, and my faculty supervisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the San Diego University bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $6,200 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $2,750
• Final term tuition: $3,150
• Exam and lab fees: $140
• Textbooks and materials: $160
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
