Help me finish a master's in public health at the San Diego Institute of Technology - $4,800 to go
A first-generation student, Guo needs help covering tuition for the final stretch of a master's in public health.

I'm the first person in my family to go to university. I'm studying a master's in public health at the San Diego Institute of Technology, and I'm two terms away from graduating. I have worked as a night-shift cleaner to pay my way, but this term my hours were cut and I have an unpaid balance of $4,800.
The registrar has told me I can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. I have a first-class average, and my academic advisor has written in support of my application for a payment plan.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support my younger siblings. Without enrolling this term I'd lose my place and my scholarship eligibility.
I'm not asking for a handout - I want to finish what I started and then help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the the San Diego Institute of Technology bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $4,800 goes:
• Outstanding tuition balance: $3,100
• Final term tuition: $1,350
• Exam and lab fees: $210
• Textbooks and materials: $140

Everything on the list is an amount I've been quoted or invoiced. outstanding tuition balance comes first ($3,100) and I'll update the page as each thing gets paid. Fair thing to want to know.
