Help Martijn through 12 rounds of treatment for early-stage lung cancer
12 rounds of treatment are planned at Amsterdam Cancer Centre; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.

Martijn was diagnosed with early-stage lung cancer in March. The oncology team at Amsterdam Cancer Centre has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in May. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Martijn is 27, worked as a cleaner at a hospital until March, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Amsterdam Cancer Centre 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $5,700 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $3,350
• Scans and lab work: $570
• Transport to Amsterdam Cancer Centre: $410
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $280
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,090
