Help Lúcia through 10 rounds of treatment for a rare sarcoma
Lúcia is facing a rare sarcoma and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Lúcia was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in May. The oncology team at Ribeirão Preto Cancer Centre has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in August. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Lúcia is 33, worked as a bakery worker until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Ribeirão Preto Cancer Centre 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.

• Household costs while unable to work: $450
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $2,300
