Liton was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma in August. The oncology team at Khulna University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in November. He will be away from work for about 3 weeks.
Liton is 47, worked as a hairdresser until August, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Khulna University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
