Help Lilian through 8 rounds of treatment for cervical cancer
8 rounds of treatment are planned at Warri Regional Medical Center; we're asking for help with the costs insurance doesn't cover.
🇳🇬 Nigeria961 views
Lilian was diagnosed with cervical cancer in January. The oncology team at Warri Regional Medical Center has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in March. She will be away from work for about 5 weeks.
Lilian is 24, worked as a bus conductor until January, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Warri Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $570
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $65
• Household costs while unable to work: $150
• Scans and lab work: $215
With deep gratitude,
Usman
