Help Lestari through 4 rounds of treatment for prostate cancer
Lestari is facing prostate cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Lestari was diagnosed with prostate cancer in July. The oncology team at Makassar University Hospital has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in October. She will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Lestari is 57, worked as a farmer until July, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Makassar University Hospital 2 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,750 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,200
• Scans and lab work: $85
• Transport to Makassar University Hospital: $160
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $50
• Household costs while unable to work: $255
