Help Lauren through 6 rounds of treatment for prostate cancer
Lauren is facing prostate cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Lauren was diagnosed with prostate cancer in February. The oncology team at San Diego University Hospital has planned 6 rounds of treatment, starting in June. She will be away from work for about 7 weeks.
Lauren is 57, worked as a bakery worker until February, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to San Diego University Hospital 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $3,150 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $1,350
• Household costs while unable to work: $1,250
• Transport to San Diego University Hospital: $550
