Help Laura finish a degree in social work at Tlaquepaque State College - $950 to go

Laura is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a degree in social work at Tlaquepaque State College, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a tutor to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $950. The registrar has said Laura can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Laura has a top-ten-percent average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Laura would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Laura isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the Tlaquepaque State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt. Where the $950 goes: • Outstanding tuition balance: $370 • Final term tuition: $450 • Exam and lab fees: $45 • Textbooks and materials: $85 I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen. - Joaquín
