Kobina was diagnosed with colon cancer in September. The oncology team at Accra University Hospital has planned 8 rounds of treatment, starting in December. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks. Kobina is 37, worked as a bank teller until September, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him. Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Accra University Hospital 5 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
