Help Joaquín through 12 rounds of treatment for a rare sarcoma
Supporting Joaquín through a rare sarcoma: medication, transport to Mendoza University Hospital, and living costs while He can't work.
🇦🇷 Argentina1,265 views
Joaquín was diagnosed with a rare sarcoma in June. The oncology team at Mendoza University Hospital has planned 12 rounds of treatment, starting in September. He will be away from work for about 6 weeks.
Joaquín is 28, worked as a farmer until June, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Mendoza University Hospital 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $650
• Scans and lab work: $190
• Transport to Mendoza University Hospital: $260
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $195
• Household costs while unable to work: $405
Thanks for reading all this.

Thank you. If you're in Mendoza I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. Fair thing to want to know.
Hang in there, Teresa. Your post was clear and honest. Wish I lived closer to San Jose so I could bring a meal. God bless.
Wishing you the best, Teresa. It takes guts to ask. Well done

Thanks for sharing this. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. I'm in social work myself and wanted you to know we're cheering for you. Greetings from New Orleans.
