Help Joaquim pay for ACL reconstruction at São Paulo General Hospital
Joaquim needs ACL reconstruction at São Paulo General Hospital and the family is $1,000 short of the hospital's estimate.

Joaquim was diagnosed with a large ovarian cyst in March. The surgeon at São Paulo General Hospital recommended ACL reconstruction, and He is scheduled for July. The hospital's financial office gave us a written estimate of $1,350, and after what our health plan will pay we're still $1,000 short.
my father has been in and out of São Paulo General Hospital since March. The doctors say a large ovarian cyst will get worse without ACL reconstruction. We have emptied our savings and borrowed from relatives, but the estimate of $1,350 is more than we can find.
While we wait, Joaquim struggles with daily life and can't work a full shift. His family has taken turns caring for him, and I've cut my own work hours to be there.
Recovery is expected to take about 6 weeks. During that time Joaquim won't be able to work a full shift, so the costs keep growing.
The money goes straight to the treatment bills, and I'll share the invoices as they're paid so you can see exactly what your gift did.
Where the $1,000 goes:
• Surgeon and anesthesia fees: $610
• Physiotherapy sessions: $240
• Post-operative medication: $150
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

Best of luck. Gave what I could, wish it was more. Greetings from Hải Phòng.
rooting for you, Márcia. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Our whole street has been following this since the weekend. Take care
this could happen to any of us. Put this on a community board in Guarulhos this morning. God bless
Look after yourselves too, caregivers need rest. I hope May is when things finally get easier. Blessings
Keep going, Márcia. Gave what I could, wish it was more. After 16 years in public service I know how hard it's to ask for anything.
