Help Janet through 4 rounds of treatment for stage 2 breast cancer
Janet is facing stage 2 breast cancer and the cost of treatment, travel and care at home is far beyond what the family can cover.

Janet was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer in May. The oncology team at the Kampala Oncology Institute has planned 4 rounds of treatment, starting in July. She will be away from work for about 12 weeks.
Janet is 50, worked as a taxi driver until May, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after her.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to the Kampala Oncology Institute 3 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off her shoulders.
Funds will be used only for treatment, medication, transport to appointments and essential living costs during treatment.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Scans and lab work: $190
• Nutrition and supplements prescribed by the care team: $90
• Transport to the Kampala Oncology Institute: $105
• Chemotherapy and medication not covered: $1,315
