Jacob is the first person in the family to go to university. He is studying a master's in public health at Leeds State College, and is one semester away from graduating. He has worked as a shop assistant to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $3,700.
The registrar has said Jacob can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Jacob has a 3.8 average, and a department head has written in support.
Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Jacob would lose his place and scholarship eligibility.
Jacob isn't asking for a handout - He wants to finish what He started and help the next student.
The payment will go directly to the Leeds State College bursar's office. I'll post the receipt.
Where the $3,700 goes:
• Final term tuition: $2,600
• Outstanding tuition balance: $800
• Textbooks and materials: $300
I hope life is good to you.

praying for you, Charlotte. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I'll check back for the next update. God bless.
