Hye-jin is the first person in the family to go to university. She is studying a master's in public health at the Seoul Institute of Technology, and is one term away from graduating. She has worked as a warehouse packer to pay the way, but this term the hours were cut and there's an unpaid balance of $2,650. The registrar has said Hye-jin can't enroll for the next term until the balance is cleared. Hye-jin has a 3.8 average, and a department head has written in support. Graduating means a stable job and the chance to support the younger siblings. Without enrolling this term Hye-jin would lose her place and scholarship eligibility. Hye-jin isn't asking for a handout - She wants to finish what She started and help the next student. The payment will go directly to the the Seoul Institute of Technology bursar's office.
