Horst was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in December. The oncology team at Kassel Regional Medical Center has planned 10 rounds of treatment, starting in March. He will be away from work for about 8 weeks.
Horst is 47, worked as a tailor until December, and has always been the one who looks after everyone else. Now it's our turn to look after him.
Treatment is covered only in part. Medication that isn't on the approved list, trips to Kassel Regional Medical Center 4 times a week, and the income the family has lost add up quickly.
We've already sold what we could and have begun borrowing for groceries. Every kindness from you takes weight off his shoulders.
I'll post every invoice and receipt as an update so donors can follow where each gift goes.
